Introduction to Marketing (Grand Canyon University)

At Bo Diddley Tech, unethical behavior is common, just as it is in the job market for Wall Street chief executive officers, finance experts, and other corporate headquarters. Cheating is a major issue among business students when especially in comparison to students who are not into business field. According to a Journal of Higher Education editorial, 56 percent of business students and 47 percent of non-business students have claimed to cheat in school.

We gathered a survey of 1440 students from a recently graduated class who were divided into two groups: students in business and non-business students. They were polled and asked some questions such as what university they decided to attend and whether they were athletes. This data was then supplied into a pc algorithm, which determined whether or not graduates should be labeled as cheaters.

We arranged our information for this by taking the sample of 100 people by putting them in a data structure. The sections were organized in such a way that it is clear who tried to cheat and who appears to have not. We even used the line segment to divide students into business and non-business categories. While also delving deeper and categorizing athletes and non-athletes in both categories.

We made a bar graph to help with visualizing the statistics. Individuals who might have cheated are labeled as blue, while those who have not cheated are labeled as red. We discovered that far more sportsmen did not cheat, whereas non-athletes did cheat quite frequently. In addition, we could see that entrepreneurial students were more likely to cheat than non-business classmates.

Non-athletes who are students studying business are the most likely to cheat, according to this study. As a result, 56 percent of students who cheated are in the school of business. With all that being said, the community that did not cheat the most are the non-athletes who were not in the school of business. Things considered we could indeed draw the conclusion that members of the entrepreneurial school have a better likelihood of trying to cheat despite if they have been involved with sports or not.

Data corruption is an unethical action that, as a researcher, can harm the findings and analysis and should not be altered for any ind. My strategy for the headmaster would have been to tell him that rather than transforming the data, we can shift the graphical representations to make it appear that the university was not experiencing this issue as severely. I furthermore assume that they may end up choosing to figure out how to help stop cheating by changing the teaching methods each year or midterm. What I imply is that

by modifying this, students will be less likely to cheat because there will be fewer comparable tests and answers available to them.

I genuinely think that one solution to this problem is to try our hardest to prevent fraudulent activities by possessing a way of changing the course of study once a year or degree course. This would prevent students from getting solutions that peers who took the course in earlier periods or semesters shared or from discovering test that they used that do have previous responses on them that they might use on exam.

  • Discussion Questions (DQ)

Initial responses to the DQ should address all components of the questions asked, including a minimum of one scholarly source, and be at least 250 words. Successful responses are substantive (i.e., add something new to the discussion, engage others in the discussion, well-developed idea) and include at least one scholarly source. One or two-sentence responses, simple statements of agreement or “good post,” and responses that are off-topic will not count as substantive. Substantive responses should be at least 150 words.   • Weekly Participation

Your initial responses to the mandatory DQ do not count toward participation and are graded separately. Part of your weekly participation includes viewing the weekly announcement and attesting to watching it in the comments.   • APA Format and Writing Quality

Familiarize yourself with the APA format and practice using it correctly. It is used for most writing assignments for your degree. Visit the Writing Center in the Student Success Center, under the Resources tab in Loud-cloud for APA paper templates, citation examples, tips, etc. Points will be deducted for poor use of APA format or absence of APA format (if required). Cite all sources of information! When in doubt, cite the source. Paraphrasing also requires a citation. I highly recommend using the APA Publication Manual, 6th edition.

  • Use of Direct Quotes

I discourage over-utilization of direct quotes in DQs and assignments at the Master’s level and deduct points accordingly. As Masters’ level students, it is important that you be able to critically analyze and interpret information from journal articles and other resources. Simply restating someone else’s words does not demonstrate an understanding of the content or critical analysis of the content. It is best to paraphrase content and cite your source.
