Barriers to the Use of Health Services Among Ethnic Minorities Presentation

Overview

I only need the presentation. I already did the part 1 and 2. So, I ONLY NEED THE PRESENTATION

Part 3: Infographic

In the third part of the project, you will create an infographic (informational graphic) that reports on your intervention proposal and explains how the intervention can increase the use of this health behavior for the target population. Follow the instructions below: a. Using the article information, health belief theories, and intervention that you outlined in Part 2, you will make an infographic that informs of this health-related problem and argues for the use of your proposed intervention. b. The infographic can take any form. What matters more is that you create an infographic that includes the components listed in the grading rubric below. i. The infographic should be informative and accurate, but also audio/visually interesting. There are a few options: 1. Create a graphic ad using a program like Canva, Adobe, or PowerPoint. 2. Create a three-minute maximum video presentation (VoiceThread, Zoom Recording, etc.). 3. Create a PowerPoint presentation with 5-10 slides. 4. Create and record a three-minute maximum audio recording (VoiceThread, Zoom, etc.). c. Once you’ve finished the assignment, submit your Part 3 infographic to the Assignments tab on D2L by the due date.

d. For reference, an infographic can look like this one (please note, this is just to show how the infographic can be organized. This particular example does not display information about health behaviors or propose an intervention): Reference: Miller-Kleinhenz, J. M., Collin, L. J., Seidel, R., Reddy, A., Nash, R., Switchenko, J. M., & McCullough, L. E. (2021). Racial disparities in diagnostic delay among women with breast cancer. Journal of the American College of Radiology: JACR, 18(10), 1384–1393. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jacr.2021.06.019 GRADING RUBRICS Part 1 Rubric (5 points) Article Selection (5 points) -Identified an appropriate article and uploaded the entire article to D2L by the due date Part 2 Rubric (10 points) APA Reference (1 point) -Provided the citation of the chosen scholarly article in APA format Steps 1, 2, 3 (8 points) -Accurately applied course concepts to explain the health behavior in the target population and to propose a behavior change intervention -Demonstrated strong critical thinking in conceptualizing the findings in the scholarly article -Provided your own conclusions and original thoughts -Adhered to the length requirements Grammar, Spelling, and APA style (1 point) -Written in clear, succinct, and understandable language -Used a logical order -Nearly perfect grammar and spelling -Cited when appropriate and used limited direct quotations -Used correct APA in-text citations Part 3 Rubric (10 points)

Quality of Content (8 points) -Included a full explanation of each section/step in Part 2: 1. Identify target health behavior and population, and summarize the main findings of the article. 2. Explain how health beliefs can influence the health behavior practice in the target population. Be sure to include an explanation on the model you listed in part 2 and apply this model to explain why the health behavior is underutilized in the target population. 3. Propose your idea for a behavior change intervention in targeting the health behavior. Describe the strategies you will use in the intervention and explain how these strategies would increase the health behavior (by explaining the theoretical framework that these strategies come from). *The ultimate goal of this infographic is to inform your audience (“NIH directors”) of this health behavior gap/problem and advocate for the importance of using a behavior change intervention to address this problem. This theme should come across in your assignment. Creativity and Formatting (1 point) -Provided an entertaining format in addition to being informative -Demonstrates connections between health behaviors, health beliefs, and behavior change -Presented content in a clear and logical order Grammar and Spelling (1 point) -Written in succinct and understandable language -Nearly perfect grammar and spelling -References the article within the infographic
