1. The Course Capstone Project is a sustained research and analysis project that you will work on throughout the course. In this project, you will write a proposal to create and maintain a partnership or coalition that will have a positive impact on your selected health issue.
   Complete the following tasks this week:
   • Review the research you’ve conducted about the health issue and the target population.
   • Explore existing groups, associations, and sub-communities associated with the health issue you selected. How are these groups associated with the target population? What, if anything, are they doing to address this health problem? Conduct research to support your findings. If your existing research does not support your findings, continue your research.
   • Consider the development of new partnerships or coalitions that could be formed to support and address this health problem. Could you bring existing groups together and organize them to better support the issue? Conduct research to support your findings. If your existing research does not support your findings, continue your research.
   • Write a 700- to 875 word summary of your findings. Complete the following in your summary:
   • Provide a detailed description of the health issue.
   • Provide a detailed description of the target population.
   • Describe existing groups, associations, and sub-communities associated with your health issue and their efforts.
   • Describe your intentions to develop a new coalition or partnership.
   • What method would you use to organize the group?
   • Who are your ideal members?
   • Why would this group provide needed support for this health issue?
