PRELIMINARY DISSERTATION REFERENCES ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW According to Paré and Kitisiou (2017), because research is a continuing effort, which builds upon previous work, being able to collect, review, and synthesize existing findings is critical for any study. Building a library of sources is one of the first steps in creating that synthesis. This assignment leads you to develop a library of sources for your dissertation study, primarily the literature review. Although this list of sources will not be the final total, it is a good start to the foundation needed to synthesize the findings of current research.

Capitalize the beginning of the subtitle.
Use title case for journal names.
Use sentence case for article and book titles.
