How is it defined as a social problem? Provide evidence or statistics that lay a foundation and support your claim.
How does this problem impact systems at the micro, mezzo, and macro level of society? Is it an international issue? If so, is it addressed by the International Statement of Ethical Principles? What are the macro-level system responses to the issue? Locate at least one macro system at the local level in your community which addresses this problem. Gather information from the agency describing its mission statement, programs offered, and populations served. Include this information in your paper. Include if the agency has a social worker on staff. What is the role of the worker?
