Multivariate Approaches
Identify a counseling topic that can be analyzed using multivariate approaches in research (e.g., PTSD, treatment for adolescence, self-esteem). This topic should be of professional interest to you and can be used for multiple assignments throughout the course. Use the GCU Library to find five peer-reviewed articles not already in this course that support the criteria below. Write a 750-1,000-word analysis about your selected articles. Be sure to include the following in your analysis:
- The key variables in the selected articles
- The validity and reliability of reported statistics for the articles
- The particular threats to internal validity that were found in at least one study
- The strengths and limitations of the use of multivariate models to identify findings in your selected articles
- References and in-text citations for the selected articles
