Assignment 1:
1. What is CRT? Give a historical overview and cite your information.
2. Why it is extremely controversial (what caused it to become controversial, and how/why did it become misunderstood?) How did group think and/or group polarization support the CRT controversy? Why is it perceived as a threat, and how could this perspective change?
3. Could CRT change the way racial issues and history are taught in K-12 education and in college? If so, how?
