Overview
Conduct a work formatted in APA-7th Edition Manual, The paper must address in detail the impact of trauma on a vulnerable population in the U.S. My vulnerable population will be: "The Impact of Trauma in the Elderly on Cognitive Decline": Trauma in old age has also been linked to an increased risk of developing cognitive disorders, including dementia. Chronic trauma can accelerate cognitive decline and memory loss, affecting the older adult's ability to live independently.
The suggested outline for this work is:
- One or two introductory paragraphs summarizing the content of the paper, including the population to be investigated in relation to trauma exposure;
- One or two paragraphs that define the meaning of trauma and its historical impact on the student's population of interest;
- Research/demographics on the vulnerable population (national, state, and as local as possible: county or city);
- Research that addresses how trauma impacts that specific population;
- Intervention programs or methods that have been shown to be effective in treating trauma with the population (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD))
- Identify the sections of the NASW Code of Ethics that might relate to the population and why.
The requirements to be taken into account are:
