Overview
Social workers must possess specific knowledge about the ethnic or racial group of the people they work with. They must assume the responsibility of learning about historical experiences, socioeconomic backgrounds, cultural customs, etc. At the same time, it is very important to avoid using information about culture, race, and ethnicity in a stereotypical or overly generalized manner. Considering these premises and the ethnic/racial/cultural diversity of the United States, you have been assigned a pair of individuals to research a particular ethnic or racial group. Research their main characteristics, traits, and customs. Focus primarily on the family, spiritual, values, and communication styles predominant in these ethnic/racial groups.

This assignment will be evaluated through a PowerPoint presentation (no more than 10 slides), and one will have 10 minutes to present their research.
