General guidelines:
Do not assume we know! ("Singapore government employs communitarianism as a preferred ideology*)
Do not simply make assertions - other than the most commonsensical ones ("Singapore is well known for its political stability" versus "there are low levels of negative public opinions")
Define your concepts and ideas clearly.
General examples versus specific examples
Always a good idea to define everything in intro... and go on to make your argumentation. First, second, third etc...
Remember to answer the question! For example, you were asked to assess the importance of domestic politics to Singapore's foreign policy BUT you went on to LIST out who are the domestic constituents of Singapore's foreign policy.
