Congratulations! You have achieved your term goal of getting your prospectus approved, so very well done!
I am pleased to see that you took on board the PD's comments and sent me a revised version of the prospectus.
One thing I think you still need to consider is the title, as it sets the scene for the entire project.
The original title was “Effects of Human Resource Management Practices on Employee Performance in Small-to-Medium Sized Financial Service Businesses”.
The PD advised you to read your purpose and research question, and revise the title:
Purpose: identify the human resources management strategies that small and medium-sized enterprise HR managers in the financial services sector use to improve employee performance and organizational productivity.
RQ: What human resources management strategies do small and medium-sized enterprise HR managers in the financial services sector use to improve employee performance and organizational productivity?
The amended title is “Human Resource Management Practices and Employee Performance in SMEs in the Financial Services Sector”.
However, I think the title would be better phrased as “Human Resources Management Strategies to Improve Employee Performance in SMEs in the Financial Services Sector”.
Also, as the title does not contain ‘organizational productivity’, you may want to consider removing these words from the purpose and RQ.
Now that you have an approved prospectus, you can move on to work on Section 1 of the proposal.
