Overview
Our final reading assignment for the semester includes a discussion of artists who use new techniques, color photography, a large section discussing digital photography. Not only is photography discussed as a medium, but the influence of conceptual art and postmodernism are important shifts in photography as art. Look at the images and techniques used by photographers/artists in the reading material. Choose one image that you find interesting and explain what drew you to the image. Describe how the technique used to create the image affects how it is read. Is the process part of how the work is read? How so or why not?
