The Four Classifications of Death. Now that you've reviewed the lecture, you know there are four classifications of death. 1) Natural 2) Accidental (noncriminal) 3) Suicide 4) Homicide a) noncriminal b) criminal

Serena's response

Natural: A 60-year-old man passes away due to a stroke.

Accidental (noncriminal): A 20-year-old falls off a cliff while hiking, unfortunately not surviving.

Suicide: An 18-year-old overdoses in their dorm room, leaving behind suicide notes for their loved ones.

Homicide (noncriminal): Shooting a man for breaking in and entering a home, resulting in the intruder's death. This is classified as a justifiable, noncriminal homicide due to them exercising their right to protect themselves.

Homicide (criminal): Taking the life of a pedestrian at a crosswalk when doing a hit and run due to running a red light.
