Advanced Air Quality Control

Overview

please respond to Alexander with 170. words

Hello everyone! My name is Alexandra , and I’m from Oklahoma. I currently work in the oil and gas manufacturing industry as a Training and Development Consultant at Kimray, Inc. I’ve been in this field for about seven years, focusing on employee development, safety, and leadership training. My role allows me to collaborate with teams across the organization to identify performance gaps, design engaging learning programs, and strengthen both technical and interpersonal skills.

I recently completed my Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health in June 2025. I decided to continue my education by pursuing a second master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health with a concentration in Environmental Management. I wanted to expand my knowledge on the environmental aspects of safety, particularly since they play a crucial role in long-term sustainability and regulatory compliance.

One of my most interesting experiences at work was helping implement a new ERP system across multiple departments. It was a huge learning experience that combined change management, communication, and hands-on training. It taught me how essential collaboration and adaptability are when guiding people through major transitions.

The most important aspect of my work is helping people grow in a way that connects learning to real outcomes. Whether that’s through leadership development or safety training, I love seeing those “lightbulb moments” when someone truly understands why something matters.

Outside of work, my husband and I have three amazing kids—Teddy, Lily, and Jack—who definitely keep life interesting! Between sports, school, and sleepless nights, there’s never a dull moment in our house.

After graduation, I hope to transition fully into an EHS consulting role, combining my background in learning and development with environmental and safety management.

Something unique about me is that I love combining creativity and education—I design leadership programs, safety training, and even use AI to create visuals that make learning more interactive and engaging.

I’m looking forward to learning from everyone this term and gaining a deeper understanding of air quality management from both a technical and practical standpoint!
