Please write a roughly 2-3 page paper (a little longer is fine, but it really should not be shorter than 2 pages) explaining to me what are the main points of Heraclitus' and Parmenides' philosophy? Why is Heraclitus often identified as philosopher of change, and why is Parmenides often identified as philosopher of sameness? What are some of the examples, metaphors, and topics that they most focus on? Basically, explain each philosopher's ideas to me and compare and contrast the two. Use only the assigned material -- the three lectures and the reading. Do NOT use any other web resources, do NOT use ANY direct quotes on these papers, and, since there will be no direct quotes, you do NOT need any bibliography or works cited page.
