In a 2- to 3-page paper, address the following:
- Summarize your Big Five Inventory-2 results and explain whether the test accurately captures your personality.
- Summarize the Big Five Inventory-2 results of your first-degree biological relative and explain whether the test accurately captures their personality.
- South et al. (2015, p. 31) stated that decades of work with biometric modeling techniques “firmly establish the heritability of major personality trait domains at 40-50%.” Based on your BFI-2 results and those of your first-degree relative, how accurate do you believe that 40 to 50 percent range is?
- Based on the readings, your Walden Library search on this topic, and your experience with this activity, provide a brief statement and analysis of your position on the role of nature and nurture in personality development.
- Support your positions with findings from scholarly research on the relationship between the Five-Factor Model traits and biological factors (e.g., genes).
