One topic that stood out to me this week was how computers process and display graphics and video. Before this lesson, I mostly thought of graphics as just pictures on a screen, but I learned that computers use different methods, such as bitmap and vector graphics, depending on the type of image being created. I also found it interesting that video is simply a sequence of images displayed quickly enough to create the illusion of motion. Understanding concepts like resolution, compression, and file formats helped me realize why some images and videos look much sharper than others and why file sizes can vary so much. These technologies make it possible to stream movies, attend virtual meetings, and create professional digital content with relatively little effort.

I also realized how important graphics and video have become in education, business, and everyday communication. For example, instructional videos often make it easier to understand complex ideas than reading text alone because they combine visuals, sound, and demonstrations. In my own experience, I have learned many computer skills by watching video tutorials, which helped me complete tasks much faster than reading written instructions. This week's material showed me that multimedia is more than entertainment—it is an essential tool for learning, communication, and collaboration in today's digital world. I think these skills will continue to be valuable as technology becomes even more integrated into our daily lives.
