For this, I used the SkyView lite. I chose the Pisces constellation. The constellation has a rich history, but the most well-known story is from Greek mythology. It tells the story of how the goddess Aphrodite and her son Eros escaped the monster Typhon. The story says that the two transformed into fish to escape, tying themselves together so they would not split up. No single person is known to have named it, but we do know that Pisces was first noted by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy in the 2nd century. It has around 18 main stars within it, but astronomers say there are hundreds of stars within its boundaries. It's the 14th largest constellation out of the 88 recognized ones. The star Alrescha really stood out to me as it represents the knot connecting the two fish. I chose this particular constellation because I enjoy learning about the Greek gods in my free time, and currently I am studying Aphrodite's stories, so I found it fitting.
