Guidelines for Choosing an Article or Media Item
Your current event article or media item should be related to one of the following:
- Financial Fraud
Measurement of Costs
Cost Containment
Earnings
- Executive Compensation
Decision-Making Using Financial Information
- Other relevant financial accounting topic
- When choosing an article or media item, make sure to select from a reputable source (for example, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NPR, Health Affairs, and trade publications such as the AICPA)
- Your article/media item should be published within the last 3 months.
- Examples of media items include (but are not limited to):
- Podcast episode
- Radio story
- TED talk
- Speech at a trade conference
