-Select one case from any of the following categories found in the Table of Contents pages in the above files: bribery and corruption; bribery, corruption and tax evasion; cybercrime and cryptocurrency; fraud/fraud and embezzlement; or trade-based money laundering and third-party money laundering.
-Next, prepare a "briefing," focused on specific considerations for the amendments discussed in our course (fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth): Which amendments were likely relevant to the selected case? What impact may the amendments and the protections they provide have had on the course of the investigation? What investigative steps, strategies, techniques, etc. would have had to have been conducted with certain amendments in mind, from the perspective of an investigator or prosecutor? What did you read that you can connect to content covered in prior courses or our current course? What did you find most interesting? What does/did the review of the case make you want to explore further, whether related specifically to the discussed amendments or another area? Of course, not every question needs to be addressed. I suggest using the Cornell Law site as your starting point but feel free to incorporate other sources to support your writing.
