Assignment 1 Title: Financial Management in Hospitality Industry
Explain and discuss the importance of Financial Management in hospitality operations with an emphasis on the following Five points:
- Financial Management identification in hospitality operations.
- Purposes of Financial Management in hospitality operations.
- Importance of Financial Management in decision making and control.
- The relationship between Financial Management and all departments within hotel operations.
- The manager’s role in Financial Management.
Instruction for the assignment:
Instruction for writing: A word file A4 pages printed and delivered Type of writing style (Times New Roman) font size (14), Line space (1.5), Portrait Layout Justified, and each point should be covered in one page at minimum or two pages at maximum, i.e. 5-10 pages to cover the Five points in addition to one page—a cover page at beginning, and another one for list of references used at the end. Also soft copy A4 word file named A1-your ID No. and delivered to the Course Leader.
Deadline: Monday, 24th February, 2025 during class time
Grades assigned: 10 Marks
You should have a cover page for your assignment involving the following information: Course Name and its Code; Assignment Title; Student Full Name; Student ID No.; Submitted to whom, Date of Submission
A list of References used should be added by the end of Assignment
