"The more positive the body image of women who have experienced a mastectomy, the higher their self-esteem level"
Write a null hypothesis, one-sided alternative hypothesis, and a two-sided alternative hypothesis based on the above statement.
Describe the difference between the one-sided alternative hypothesis and the two-sided alternative hypothesis above.

Question 3: An investigator conducted a research study and analyzed the data using a statistical software. He found his P-value to be 0.049. Assume that the level of statistical significance (alpha) for the study is 0.05 (i.e. 5%).
Based on the findings above, should the investigator reject the null hypothesis or not reject the null hypothesis? Was the investigator's result statistically significant or not statistically significant? Please explain your answer.
