Overview
1. Select the cells in columns A & B, rows 2 through 71 then click “Recommended Charts” on the Insert page. Select the “Clustered Column” chart
2. 1.Likewise, create a chart for the Bonus numbers selecting cells in columns F & G, rows 2 through 41.
3. Add a new spreadsheet by clicking on the “+” on the bottom of the workbook. Right click on the name of the new sheet and change the name to “Charts”.
4.Cut/paste the two new charts into the Charts spreadsheet.
5.The two new charts are unusable as is, so we need to make them readable. Stretch them to the right until all the column labels are showing and spaced properly. That is, you should see “39 32 36”, etc. for the Pick 5 chart.
6.Click on the title of each chart and change them to Pick 5 Numbers and Bonus Numbers, respectfully.
If you wish to modify the column colors, plot area color, or anything else, be sure that the result will enhance readability and not cause eye fatigue. In other words, don’t use “neon” colors in a business environment.
