In this assignment, we will explore the costing system for mass production. Costs are aggregated, and the per unit costs are calculated at the end of the period. The challenge of Process Costing is to value the ending working process of partially completed units accurately. We use a concept called Equivalent Units of Production, which we will explore more in our reading and in the homework problems.
