Overview
DBA Case Study
The major project for DBA students involves writing a case study on a company of your choice. In practice, the case study is a useful way to analyze a competitor or potential merger partner. Case studies can also be published in textbooks, handbooks and academic journals. Review Bruner’s case study of Oracle (Bruner, 2006) included on Canvas. Select a company with publicly available financials for the past six years. Write a case study with prose following the format of Oracle in Bruner. Include all the sections of prose and seven exhibits (the individual line items of your exhibits do not have to match Bruner exactly. Adapt your exhibits to the data you have). You may send one draft of your major project during the two-weeks of period 3.
Note: Before you begin writing, please email me the company you will be using as the subject of your case study and the research question of your study.
