Create an 8-slide PowerPoint presentation based on the following scenario and instructions below.
Scenario:
Your peers need a refresher on various concepts and topics of intermediate accounting. This is to ensure your peers are all on the same page and to enhance quality within the department. You did so well with your first presentation that your boss asked that you do another. You are thrilled to do so because your presentation will count toward your department’s required professional development credits. You decide to create a PowerPoint presentation that you will present in person.
Cover the topics below:
Assess the characteristics of pension plans.
Explain pension costs.
Examine postretirement benefit plans.
Explain the pros and cons of leasing.
Contrast operating and capital leases.
Summarize the reporting of leases on the balance sheet and any related disclosures.
Your PowerPoint presentation should be at least 8 slides in length, not counting the title and reference slides. You must use at least three sources, including published journal articles or reliable internet sources. One source must be from the CSU Online Library.
Use the slide notes feature for every content slide to expand upon the concepts you are presenting. Use this as the space to write out what you would say verbatim during your presentation.
