Overview

You are a junior executive in a global organization who has been identified as having high potential for advancement. The Senior VP for Human Resources (a role played by your instructor) has asked you to investigate the best management practices being used for managing organizational behavior (below you will see a list of topics from which to choose). You must investigate the function/topic you choose and prepare a paper and presentation to describe the best practices. Your investigation should begin with the treatment of the topic in your textbook but most of your presentation and paper should be based on research from other sources (e.g., other books, case studies, research journal articles, etc.). Your presentation should address the implications of managing your focal topic/function in a global context. You are encouraged to discuss the content of your presentation with the VP of HR far enough in advance that he can provide you with guidance.

This paper should describe the best practices (in a global context) as well as the evidence supporting these best practices. It should be 8-10 pages in length (including a cover page, executive summary, body, and references) using 12-point font and 1-inch margins. APA style should be used.
