Data visualizations are powerful tools for communicating results and patterns in data. But what is the most effective way to communicate a company’s performance?
In this lab, your task is to use Excel to visualize and communicate Tesla's performance using a variety of charts and graphs.
The goal is not just to build visualizations, but to tell a compelling story with data that helps others understand what is happening in the business.

📝 Write-Up Requirement (Max 300 words)
In addition to your Excel screenshots, you must include a brief write-up at the end of your Word document.
This write-up is not optional and will be graded based on both content and format.
You should:
- Watch the tutorial video carefully
- Copy those bullet points into your Word document
- Which charts are most effective in telling the story?
- Which visuals would you present to management?
- Should you show all the visuals to fully communicate the insights, or just a selected few?
✍️ Write-up must be:
- No more than 300 words
- Accurate and clearly answer the questions above
- ❗ If you submit one long paragraph instead of answering each bullet point individually, your write-up will receive zero credit, even if the content is correct.
