🧠 Lab Insight

This lab demonstrates how placing multiple pivot tables and pivot charts in the same Excel spreadsheet can reveal meaningful insights.

You will build an interactive dashboard that includes:

• 3 Pivot Tables
• 3 Associated Pivot Charts
• 2 Slicers for filtering

⚠️ Note: This lab will not work properly on Excel for Mac. Please use a Windows version of Excel.

⚙️ Dashboard Components

1. Pivot Tables & Charts:
   • Total quantity sold per product
   • Number of sales orders that include each product
   • Both metrics over time
2. Slicers:
   • One dashboard-level slicer to filter all visuals by customer
   • One report-level slicer to filter the time-based chart only, by state

📎 Submission Instructions

1. Download data from Canvas
2. Complete the dashboard in Excel
3. Set the state filter to "AR" and the product filter to "Mavic Air 2" so that your report shows the totals for Mavic Air 2 sales to Arkansas customers. Take a screenshot.
4. Paste screenshots into a Word document and name the document "Data Analytics #4 Submission".
5. Add your write-up at the end of the Word file
6. Submit your Word file only via Canvas
