Hello everyone, my name is Montaesha, and I’m from Mississippi, where I’ve lived my whole life. I currently work for Howard Industries as a coil winder, and I also run a small in-home catering business called The Family Kitchen, which has been doing really well. Cooking has always been something I love, so it’s great to turn that passion into a side business. Outside of work, I enjoy taking family trips to relax and spend time with my fiancée and our two kids. I’m majoring in Business Administration, and my goal is to use my degree to help grow my catering business into something bigger one day.
I do agree that accounting is the language of business. Every business decision, whether it’s about hiring, investing, or expanding, usually comes down to money. Accounting provides the numbers and reports that tell the story of how a company is doing. Without it, business owners and managers would be guessing about their performance instead of making informed choices. Other business functions like marketing or management are important, but accounting connects everything by showing the financial impact of every decision. It’s the one language all parts of a business must understand to stay successful.
