Overview
Now that we've learned about Hindu art and the purposes Hindu objects serve in a religious context, take some time to think about how the experience of viewing these objects changes when they are placed in a museum. This can draw upon your own experience of viewing art objects in a museum, a virtual tour of the British Museum (Links to an external site.), or from browsing the way these objects are presented on a museum website such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art's site (Links to an external site.).
Write down your thoughts on the subject here. Do you think that there is a better way that museums could present these objects?
