I'm working on a art question and need guidance to help me learn.
Textbooks like Gateways to Art endeavor to be more inclusive. But, in the United States, education has traditionally prioritized Western Art (meaning European art and art made by Americans of European-descent) to the exclusion of art by native peoples or art from Asian and African cultures.
