Gothic Art vs Contemporary Art History Essay

Looking at the periods of Art History that we have covered, think about them and pick one from the list below to compare to our present day art and/or culture. Write three paragraphs with three points of similarity. Footnotes etc. are NOT required but your answer should resonate as scholarly. Please double space with an intro paragraph and then number your paragraphs as 1,2,3. Please do NOT copy and paste anything from the internet as I have software to check this. 1. Culture...what makes this culture different or similar from the present day?
2. Rule or Governance.
3. Religion
4. Art...use the type of art such as fresco or painting. What is the predominant subject matter? How is humanity portrayed? Style?
5. Architecture. What do you see?
6. Burial practices

Regardless of which topics you choose, make sure that you CONNECT DIRECTLY to the other comparison and THEN elaborate. Writing one paragraph about one culture and then another about present day will not get you points. Please DO NOT give a lengthy intro about the history that does not relate to the assignment.
