For this weeks Discussion Board (DB) we will listen to Denis Dutton's TEDtalk about his theory on the "Origin of Beauty" and discuss our own definition of what beauty means to each of us.
First: Watch Denis Dutton's TEDTalk on "A Darwinian Theory of Beauty" (Link in blue); then reflect on the following questions writing them out before postingthem into the discussion board.
Part 1 (6 points): What is your definition of Beauty? In a few sentences, describe what beauty means to you. Identify a work of art that is beautiful to you and enter the title as the topic of your entry. Paste a copy of this work and describe in detail why it connects with you? (3 points for your definition; 3 points for the artwork pasting and rational).
