As an ongoing assignment this semester, you are all keeping a diary of your reflections on the themes and topics from our discussions and assigned readings. Your "reading diary" is an opportunity to test out ideas and draw connections between things we have looked at before examining them in greater detail in the graded assignments. Your diary will come in useful when it comes to planning your final paper (about which more info soon)
Tips and Reminders
Check the syllabus for a detailed rundown of the assignment. Your entries can be relatively informal, but you should make sure that they should engage with the readings. Please write in prose (no bullet points).
You should have six entries in the diary when this is due (weeks 2-7)
- I strongly recommend writing your weekly entry either after class or shortly after completing one or both of the readings, while your thoughts about it are fresh.
