As you have studied this module, I hope you have been able to see the differences between Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, specifically in the expressionistic qualities of the Post-Impressionist artists. For this assignment, I want you to visit https://www.vangoghmuseum.nl/en. Explore the website and explore the collection. Then I want you to pick one work of art, preferably by Van Gogh, that particularly grabs you. Save the image so you can add it to your paper and then, for the written portion of the assignment, I want you to discuss the work of art. Describe it using the elements and principles of design (color, texture, line, etc) - what do you see? And then discuss it in terms of what it means - there should be at least a little bit of information on the website regarding the work of art. Lastly, discuss how it makes you feel - what emotions does it evoke in YOU, the viewer?
