Overview
VISUAL JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT:
- Pick your favorite Novel\Book.
- Randomly open this book to any page.
- Read the first paragraph on that page and illustrate it.
- Use at least two (2) Mediums (Art Materials). Try something never used before!
- Include in your Visual Journal answers to the following questions with brief writing:
- Title of Book & Author
- What is the book about?
- How does this portion of the book inspire you?
CONSIDER:
How might you offer a parallel experience for young children? Reading them small passages or poems? Perhaps offering beautiful books that children could be inspired by the images, words, or story elements?
