Overview
For this assignment you are required to write a 300-word reflection on a single exhibition that you visit (virtually or in-person) at the American Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or any other New York museum / heritage site. Each museum features rich virtual exhibitions that can be toured online. You must write about an exhibition that contains archaeological materials (i.e. no dinosaurs or Renaissance paintings). You are required to write a critical reflection about your experience viewing one hall of your choosing. You may choose any temporary or permanent exhibition that showcases archaeological materials. In your reflection you should present your general thoughts on the exhibition and how it relates to something you’ve learned in class.
