Discovering Colorful and Sustainable Design Products
Sustainability doesn’t mean compromising on aesthetics, especially when it comes to color. In fact, many designers and manufacturers are creating products that are both vibrant and environmentally friendly.
- Research online to find three different design products (e.g., paints, fabrics, flooring, furniture, lighting) that are both colorful and sustainable. Look for products that stand out for their innovative use of materials, eco-friendly production processes, or durability.
- Document your findings: For each product, include images or links that showcase the product’s design and color options. Be sure to highlight what makes each product sustainable—whether it’s the materials used, the production process, or the product’s lifecycle. You must include images and a link to your products.
- Evaluate the products: Discuss how these products could be incorporated into your design projects. How do their color options align with current trends? How might they contribute to creating a sustainable and visually engaging space?
