It must concern something we have covered in this class about the history of graphic design through today. It can pertain to any subject under that umbrella, so pick something you’re interested in. Your topic should be in the form of a thesis question - this is how many academics, artists, and designers begin their work. This thesis question and your statement will differentiate your paper from a purely informative essay in which there is no thesis question. Your thesis question will then eventually be partnered with an answer that you unearth throughout the body of your paper.
Here's what I'm looking for: - Title page. - An integrated thesis question, which you are engaging with throughout the paper. - Four pages of writing, double-spaced in a practical, 12-point typeface. - Moderate paper margins. - Chicago or MLA formatting. - Image page(s) with at least two images to feature. Number and cite these in the text. - Works cited page(s) with at least 4 good (re: academic and in-field) sources for this paper that are not your text. - Good writing - clear organization and your own voice (re: no plagiarism or a stale list of facts in paragraph form). - Extra credit is available - 20 points per extra full page of writing beyond the required 4.
I have already created a draft of this paper. I need it done tonight with 0% AI used and 4 pages long. NOTES: - Stay away from first person. - Do not overuse quotes - your paper should be in your voice, interpreting the works of others and reiterating them back to the reader.
