Before you get started, be sure to review these examples of student projectsLinks to an external site. and examine how previous students organized their museums. Some are better than others.
To receive the highest grade possible on your Final Submission (submitted at the end of the semester), your museum needs to be organized in a way that make sense and supports the theme of your museum.
- Create a title/theme for all three rooms. Use the process you learned in Group Discussion 2 and in these Instructions for Using Adobe Express.
- Create a Photogrid for each room. Upload 4-5 images for each room. Make sure that the images you choose for each room fit the theme of the room. You can change these later, if you find images that are a better fit, or if you change your mind about the theme of any of your rooms.
- Write a clear and concise description of each room. Be sure to explain the key idea or message the room conveys. Beneath the description for each room, list the images that will be in the room: Name of Artist, Name of Artwork, date it was made.
- Make a Glideshow for each room. You will have three glide shows that include 4-5 images each. Each Glideshow will go beneath the Description for each room and will include the same 4-5 images that appear in the Photogrid for each room.
- Post a Share Link. After you set up all three rooms in your museum (explained above), you will post a share link to your museum in the first "reply" box you see below this page. Instructions for how to make a share link are found in Step 8 of these Instructions for Using Adobe Express.
Note: be sure to "update" your link any time you make changes!!
Every time you share the link for your Final Project, make sure you have saved any changes and update your page before copying and sharing the link. If you don’t update, I can’t see your work! Click on “Share” > “publish and share” > and “update link”.
Step Two: Respond to Three Classmates
Each response is worth 5 possible points (15 points total)
Next, review the posts of your classmates. Then, provide clear, thoughtful, and constructive feedback to the posts of at least three classmates. Provide them with insights that may help them better organize their online museum
- Do the themes and descriptions of each room make sense and support the overall theme of the museum?
- Do you find the rooms intriguing or engaging? Explain.
- Do the images selected for each room fit the theme of the room? Explain.
- Is there something you don't fully understand? Politely ask them to clarify for you.
- Do you have any ideas or suggestions that may help your classmates? Describe them.
Grading Rubric
You will be graded based on the overall quality of your post as well as your feedback and engagement with each member of your group.
