Overview
This week you are expected to work on your Data Collection Document.
Since you have completed your proposal review and have a draft of the first 3 chapters of your Final Paper, you will base your data collection on:
- Research Topic
- Research Approach (Qualitative/Quantitative/Mixed-Methods)
- Research Problem
- Research Questions
All of the above must be in alignment, and your data collection questions must be in alignment with them.
Project Study
If your study is qualitative, you will be working on one or more of the following:
- Questions for your Interview(s) which may be Individual Interviews or Focus Group Interviews.
- Questions for your Qualitative Questionnaire,
- The elements for your Observation Check List
- Your Field Notes Outline.
- Your Document Analysis Outline
If your study is quantitative, you will be working on one or more of the following:
- Questions for your Quantitative Questionnaire,
- The elements for your Observation Check List
- Your Field Notes Outline.
- Your Document Analysis Outline
If your study is Mixed-Method, then you will be working on a combination of the requirements for a qualitative study and a quantitative study.
