Overview
Since case studies are commonly used in the performance psychology field, it is helpful to practice the skill of case study analysis for application in the workplace. The “PSY-839 Case Study” will be used for each of the assignments throughout the course. The course has three writing assignments that aim to help you develop an intervention plan for a performance psychology case study. The first assignment requires you to identify the critical factors of the case, the constraints surrounding the critical factors, and the theoretical frameworks used to conceptualize the case. In the second assignment, you will focus on the measurement tools used to assess the client's needs in the case study. Finally, the third assignment involves proposing an intervention plan for the case study provided.

- Doctoral learners are required to use APA style for their writing assignments. The APA Style Guide is located in the Student Success Center.
- Refer to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association for specific guidelines related to doctoral-level writing. The manual contains essential information on manuscript structure and content, clear and concise writing, and academic grammar and usage.
- This assignment requires that at least two additional scholarly research sources related to this topic, and at least one in-text citation from each source be included.

Directions:
Write an essay (1,750-2,000 words) in which you survey the case and provide an initial needs assessment. Include the following in your essay:
- A description of the central issue/critical factors of the case. What constraints surround the issue/critical factors?
