Overview
This assignment will start your work to build toward your Final Research Presentation due at the end of Module 8. For your final project, you will choose a topic related to any major concept, case, issue, or theme we will cover in class (subject to instructor approval). You will research this topic in depth and present your findings using a visual presentation tool (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva).
Your Final Research Presentation is designed to demonstrate your ability to conduct an in-depth (evidence-based) examination of a topic related to this class and communicate the information.
This assignment will present your chosen topic and provide the instructor an opportunity to give you feedback and approve the topic. For this assignment, review the content for this course and select a topic you want to research, develop a presentation, and present on it. Do not proceed with your research further until your topic is approved by the instructor.
For this assignment, review the instructions for the Final Research Presentation in module 8.
- Identify the topic you want to examine
- Provide a short summary
- Explain why the topic is both timely and relevant.
This assignment must be:
- Must be a minimum of 200 words (not including title and reference pages)

- Title of Paper
- Student’s name
- Course name and number
- Instructor’s name
- Date submitted

- Must include an introduction, with a thesis statement and conclusion paragraph.
- Must use at least two (2) scholarly, peer-reviewed, or other credible sources. At least 1 of these sources must come from the course required resources.
- Must document (citeLinks to an external site.) any information used from sources in APA style.
