Around 4 years ago I lost a very good friend of mine that helped me with a lot of things. He was always there for everyone and always made everyone laugh no matter what. Since he has been gone each year there is an event that is held in our town to remember him.
Every year there is an event held in my town for my friend. During this event it is a time when everyone comes together to remember the good times they had with him. This is also a time when people in the community donate to his family. Most of the money will be given away as a scholarship to some lucky student at the local high school and the rest of the money is either donated somewhere else or used to buy things to give away the next year during the same event. This event is about remembering my great friend and also giving an opportunity to someone who needs it.
