Discussion Post: Scott Galloway Video – Emotional Manipulation and Personal Independence

Overview

I need help completing a discussion assignment based on Scott Galloway’s TED Talk about how big companies manipulate our emotions.

Part I: Own Post Write at least two (2) well-developed paragraphs (minimum five sentences each).

• The first paragraph should explain how large companies (such as Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google) manipulate people’s emotions based on the video.
• The second paragraph should express my personal opinion on what I can do to remain independent and avoid being influenced by these companies.

Part II: Feedback to a Classmate Write one (1) well-developed paragraph (minimum five sentences) responding to a classmate’s post. The feedback should be meaningful, showing agreement, adding ideas, or providing a thoughtful comment.
