Writing Question

Overview

Hi,

Please complete the Educational Autobiography essay based on the assignment instructions.

The essay should be written with reference to the reading by and about Henry Adams and his time. The main goal is to define education and explain how I will continue trying to be well-educated throughout my life.

Please follow these requirements carefully:

- Length: 1,000–1,200 words.

- Writing style: first person is allowed, so you can use “I,” “my,” and “me.”

- Tone: thoughtful, personal, reflective, and academic.

- The essay should not sound generic or artificial. It should sound like a real student reflection.

- Use active voice, clear style, and correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

- Include enough depth, objectivity, and thoughtfulness.

- Use APA format for any citation that is needed.

- There should be at least one citation/reference to the Henry Adams excerpt.

- If any outside source is used, it also needs to be cited in APA format.

- Do not rely heavily on outside sources. The essay should mainly focus on Henry Adams and my own reflection.

The essay should clearly answer these points:

1. What is education?

2. How does the Henry Adams reading help explain or challenge the meaning of education?

3. Why is education more than just school, grades, degrees, or memorizing facts?

4. How can I become and remain well-educated throughout my life?

5. What habits of thinking, reading, and learning will I adopt?

6. What habits of engaging with other people will help me keep learning?

7. How can my college experience and future career connect to lifelong education?

Please make sure the essay has a clear introduction, organized body paragraphs, and a strong conclusion. It should directly connect to the assignment prompt and rubric, especially the parts about writing quality, citations, depth of thinking, and tactical habits.

Thank you.
