Overview
In this assignment, you will demonstrate your ability to conduct research and present your findings on the topic you identified in Module 1.
This research presentation should cover one of the major concepts, issues, or themes we've covered in class. You will research this topic in depth and present your findings using a free visual presentation tool (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva). Your presentation must include a detailed script in the speaker notes section, just as you would say it if presenting live. You are not required to present live, but your script should reflect an engaging, informative, and well-organized delivery.

Be sure to cite the source of your images and consider whether an image is copyrighted.
If you would like to go above and beyond, there is an opportunity to earn up to 10 extra credit points. To earn extra credit, you must:
- Present your research using a free Zoom account or similar software.
- Appear on a camera, sharing the screen as you present your slides.
- Upload a video file or shareable link to the video in your submission comments.
Using the required resources from this module and resources found through your own research on the subject. utilizing a free on-line presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva). develop a presentation on the criminal justice career of your choice. You must include a detailed script of what you would say if you were doing the presentation in the NOTES section of each slide. Your presentation should be visually appealing, but the majority of the information should be in the script of what you would say if presenting in person. Do NOT put all the information on the slides.
In your presentation, you will:
- Identify the topic of your research.
- Demonstrate the relevance to modern law enforcement.

Your Final Research Presentation should:
- Be at least 15 slides (excluding the title and reference slide)
- You must include the script of what you would say in the NOTES section of each slide
- Be formatted according to APA styleLinks to an external site.
- Must include a separate title SLIDE with the following:
- Title of Presentation
- Student’s name
- Course name and number
- Instructor’s name
- Date submitted
- Must utilize an academic voice.
- Must use at least four (4) scholarly, peer-reviewed, or other credible sources.
- At least 2 of these sources must be from required course materials.
- Must document (citeLinks to an external site.) any information used from sources in APA style.
- Must include a separate reference slideLinks to an external site. that is formatted according to APA style
- Must include a separate title SLIDE with the following:
- Save the presentation as a pdf with notes section and upload the pdf file.
