(Part 2): Submit your 1-2 page progress of work, build a skeleton that includes basic time frames
Part 3): Submit your progress of work, identify the Critical Path (CP).Provide at least 1-2 pages of content
(Part 4): Complete the project and Present the project in the form of a powerpoint presentation. Criteria will be defined by the Instructor. Rubric will be used for grading. Powerpoint can be narrated using the Powerpoint slide show or in Prezi then uploaded to the dropbox. Based on the number of students in the course, Instructor may have students present live. This assignment requires you to lead a team to design and build a hockey arena on a fast-track timeline. You need to list out all the activities that will be involved in the project, assign a time frame for each activity, create a baseline schedule in either Excel or MS Project or other appropriate software, identify the critical path (CP) to meet the timeline, and consider any special effects, functionality, or equipment that the stadium might need. You should also include any inspections or buffer time needed before the timeline completion date and consider any long lead items that must be included in the schedule. Finally, consider any other functions the stadium might have, such as special seats, TV screens, lighting, escalators, or moving walks.
The temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO) is planned for December 23rd - 2024 (this date can be changed to reflect Fast Track and logical time when the arena is needed per the Owner's request). The date is at the Instructors discretion.

You are leading a team that is working on Design Build Fast Track project Hockey Arena.
The TCO is planned for December 23rd - 2024 (this date can be changed to reflect Fast Track and logical time when an arema/stadium is needed per the Owner's request)
1. List all activities involved to build the project
2. Assign time frame for each activity A/S/M/MEP
3. Build a baseline schedule in Excel or MS Project - Instructor will provide details in class
4. Identify the Critical Path in order to hit the TCO date
5. Note: Special cranes and machinery needed, geotechnical report, CDs?
6. Note: inspections needed prior TCO and add buffer time for re-inspection if any
7. Note: all overlapping activities and build schedule for the activities that require specialty trades, assign schedule
8. Note: pay attention on the long lead items (add them in the schedule)
9. Note: include drawings approval time in the schedule
10. Note: include in the schedule special effects and coordination time
11. Note: identify the way how the ice will be maintained
12. Think about what other functions this stadium will have
13. Consider special seats (ADA), large TV screens, special lighting, escalators, moving walks and so on
NOTE: You will need to research already built Hockey arenas, figure out how they were built, what activities took place, the timeframe to be built, and critical items.
