Examples:
- ethnography
- interviews
- participant observation
- community-based research
- music production as a site of knowledge-making
- What analytical approaches does she use?
Examples:
- intersectionality
- Black feminist theory

- Are her arguments convincing? Why or why not?
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SECTION:
Professor Traweek specifically asks that the paper discuss what aspects of Lumumba-Kasongo’s work are difficult to analyze using the conventional academic analytic-review template.
Discuss how music, performance, activism, creative production, and community engagement do not always fit neatly into traditional academic categories such as topic, hypothesis, methods, and conclusions.
IMPORTANT:
- Approximately 500 words total.
- Write about Lumumba-Kasongo/SAMMUS as a whole.
- Do not simply summarize the materials.
- Focus on analysis and evaluation.
- Sound like a student, not a research article.
- Follow the same style used in Weeks 1–6.
